The past is all around us and archaeological sites can be found and explored in many ways – without digging. We offer a limited number of small grants to those who share our philosophy of making the landscape and its archaeology accessible to all, regardless of age, location, physical or mental health constraints, social exclusion or mobility issues.
We would like to encourage more people to investigate and explore sites and landscapes using maps, lidar and other easily available digital resources – both at home and outdoors.
As we are a voluntary group our funds are limited, and the maximum sum we can offer is £100. However, small sums can make a big difference in many ways.
